Public meeting to discuss Route 32 improvements

The Maryland Department of Transportation, State Highway Administration and the Howard County Department of Public Works and Transportation will hold a public meeting on proposed improvements to the eastbound lanes of Route 32 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Feb. 15 at Amherst House, 7251 Eden Brook Drive, Columbia.

The project includes construction of a third lane eastbound from the U.S. 29 interchange to meet the third lane at Broken Land Parkway. Widening the Route 32 eastbound bridge over the Little Patuxent River to accommodate the additional lane also is proposed.
