Black history is the focus tomorrow

The Howard County Pan-Hellenic Council will sponsor its Black History Fair tomorrow at The Mall in Columbia. A number of Howard County cultural organizations will set up tables and booths showcasing the contributions of African-Americans to American culture.

The Howard County Center of African American Culture will highlight the history of the county's black residents, and members of the Howard County African American Artist Alliance will exhibit their paintings and other media.

The fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on the upper and lower levels of the mall.
