Towson Catholic, boys basketball

The All-Metro senior guard averaged 27.7 points, six assists and five rebounds during three victories, including 30-point efforts against No. 11-ranked Mount St. Joseph Tuesday and No. 9-ranked St. Frances Sunday. Jenifer, who has scholarship offers from Florida State, George Washington and South Carolina, had seven assists and six rebounds in the 63-57 win against the Gaels, and six assists and six rebounds in the 80-71 win against the Panthers.

Maria Yannuzzi

Lansdowne, girls basketball

The 5-foot-9 junior forward exploded for three double-double games in a row. In a 60-55 loss to Perry Hall last Friday, Yannuzzi had 25 points and 20 rebounds. She had 21 points and 18 rebounds in a 52-40 win over Woodlawn last Wednesday and finished with 26 points and 21 rebounds in a 49-45 win against Franklin on Jan. 14. Before her run, Yannuzzi, a 4.0 student, was averaging six points per game for the Vikings, who are 5-6 overall and 4-3 in the Baltimore County Division II.
