The county Public Schools Education Foundation has awarded grants to three schools to support student achievement programs.
The recipients are Padonia International School, $3,000 to support an after-school homework program for students in English for Speakers of Other Languages program; Catonsville Middle School, $1,430 to purchase computer software to help African-American pupils in Advance mathematics classes; Pikesville High School, $3,000 to support programs that help African-American students in advanced courses and on college entrance examinations.
