Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Central District

Theft from vehicle: A laptop computer, prescription sunglasses, two cellular phones and other property, all valued at nearly $3,800, were stolen Wednesday from a Dodge Caravan parked in the 800 block of Linden Ave.

Southern District

Robbery: A man, 44, was in the 500 block of Otterbein St. about 5 p.m. Wednesday when a gunman robbed him of cash and property, all valued at nearly $400.

Robbery: A man, 58, was walking in the 200 block of S. Monroe St. about 9: 30 a.m. Wednesday when an apparently unarmed man robbed him of $25.

Burglary: Two videocassette recorders and cash, all valued at nearly $900, were stolen Wednesday from a house in the 800 block of Washington Blvd.

Baltimore County

Woodlawn Precinct

Carjacking/arrest: A man was leaving his apartment in Rolling Park Apartments in the 8300 block of Mindale Circle about 6: 30 p.m. Wednesday when an ex-roommate approached, pulled a handgun and robbed him of his wallet and keys. The gunman drove off in the man's 1987 Hyundai that was found abandoned on nearby Wild Cherry Road. Officer Donald Matulonis spotted the suspect near the abandoned car and arrested him. Breck Little, 30, whose last known address was the Mindale Circle apartment, was charged with armed robbery, auto theft and a handgun violation. He was processed at the county Detention Center.

Garrison Precinct

Burglary: Tools valued at more than $1,600 were stolen from a construction company trailer parked in the 10800 block of Red Run Blvd. between Friday and Monday. The burglary was reported Tuesday.

Burglary: A refrigerator, dishwasher and a microwave oven were stolen Tuesday from a house under construction in the 6800 block of Carol Road.

Stolen car: A red 1995 Jeep Cherokee with Virginia tags 2457635 was stolen Wednesday in the first block of Tahoe Circle in Owings Mills.

Towson Precinct

Burglary: Several fire extinguishers of unknown value were stolen Wednesday from a storage shed in the 1200 block of E. Joppa Road.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: A woman broke into a house in the first block of Northwood Road in Timonium through the front door Wednesday and stole video games, stereo equipment and a telephone, all valued at nearly $900. A neighbor, who saw the woman drive off in a red car, was unable to describe the vehicle or provide the license number.
