'Wondrous weather'

How's the weather? Learn to predict it yourself at the program "Wondrous Weather" Saturday at Bear Branch Nature Center in Westminster. Children ages 6-10 will be taught forecasting, cloud identification and animal activities that can predict the weather. Watch a short video and take part in a weather-related craft.

"Wondrous Weather" will take place 3 p.m.-4:30 p.m. Saturday at the Bear Branch Nature Center, 300 John Owings Road, Westminster. $2; $1 members. Must pre-register. Call 410-848-2517.

Motorcycle race

Feel the adrenalin pump as nitro-burning motorcycles pound through the Baltimore Arena this weekend. The PJ1 National ArenaCross Series features some of the fastest motorcycle riders. Early arrivals on Saturday can watch the Fast Lap qualifying session, in which the riders race to determine their starting spot. Afterward, the riders will sign autographs for fans.

The PJ1 National ArenaCross Series begins at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow and Saturday and at noon Sunday. The Fast Lap qualifying session starts at 5 p.m. Saturday, at the Baltimore Arena, 201 W. Baltimore St. $8-$18. Call 410-347-2010.
