Blue Jays: Agreed to $1.85 million, two-year contract with P John Frascatore (7-1, 3.41 ERA), avoiding salary arbitration; $4,325,000, one-year contract with former Orioles 1B David Segui (.298, 14 HRs, 52 RBIs), avoiding arbitration; and one-year contract with C Alberto Castillo (.263 in 255 at-bats with Cardinals), avoiding arbitration.

Brewers: Agreed to $835,000, one-year contract with free-agent C-IF Tyler Houston (.225, 10 HRs with Cubs, Indians). Signed OF Mark Sweeney (.355 in 31 at-bats with Reds) to $515,000, one-year contract, avoiding arbitration.

Cubs: Agreed to $625,000, one-year contract with P Felix Heredia (3-1, 4.85 ERA), avoiding arbitration.

Giants: Signed two-year contract extension with P Felix Rodriguez (2-3, 3.80 ERA), avoiding arbitration.
