Teen sought in killing of 14-year-old boy

Baltimore police have issued a warrant for the arrest of a 16-year-old city youth in connection with the shooting death of a 14-year-old during an East Baltimore house party Monday morning.

Police said Antonio Leroy "Funk Funk" Atkins, whose last known address was the 1800 block of Hope St., is a suspect in the 1: 30 a.m. shooting death of Donnell Alston at a house in the 1600 block of E. Lanvale St. The warrant charges Atkins as an adult.

Detectives believe the homicide to be drug-related. Anyone with information of Atkins' whereabouts is asked to call the city homicide unit at 410-396-2100.
