Kia Williams scored a season-high 27 points to lead Mount St. Mary's over Robert Morris, 75-53, in a Northeast Conference women's basketball game last night at Knott Arena.

The Mount's defense held the Colonials (5-8, 2-2) to 32 percent shooting. Shannon Murray was Robert Morris' leading scorer with 13 points.

The Mountaineers (8-4, 3-0) never trailed in the game.

St. Francis, Pa. 74, UMBC 59: Senior forward Jess Zinobile scored a career-high 39 points and grabbed 22 rebounds to power the visiting Red Flash (9-4, 4-0) past the Retrievers (3-10, 0-3) in a Northeast Conference game.

Jami Lange led UMBC with 15 points and Kim Brown added 13.
