Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Southern District

Shooting: A man, 20, was walking in the 2000 block of Annapolis Road about 10: 20 p.m. Wednesday when a gunman demanded his money. The victim was shot once in the chest and once in the left hand but it was not known if he was robbed. The victim, a resident of the 3400 block of McShane Way, was admitted in critical condition at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

Theft: Police were seeking a known man who entered a house Wednesday in the 100 block of S. Arlington Ave. and stole a cherry wood-finished clock, valued at more than $150.

Robbery: A gunman robbed a boy, 15, of his pager and $20 about 7 p.m. Wednesday in the 4000 block of Hillcrest Road.

Theft from vehicle: Someone broke into a Chevrolet van in the 3600 block of S. Hanover St. on Wednesday after breaking a window and stole a electric saw, an electric saw, an electric drill and a socket set, all of unknown value.

Central District

Robbery: A man armed with a handgun entered Harborway Inn in the 700 block of W. Pratt St. about 11: 53 p.m. Wednesday and ordered the manager to give him money from the cash register. After the manager gave up an undisclosed sum, he noticed the weapon was a BB pistol and tried to get back the money. The robber ran from the bar but dropped the BB gun and the money on the pavement. No arrest had been made.

Robbery: While waiting in line at Wendy's restaurant in the 900 block of McCulloh St. about 6 p.m. Wednesday, an apparently unarmed man told an employee to leave the cash register drawer open. He then leaned over the counter, took money from the register and ran.

Eastern District

Cutting: A girl, 13, was in the 600 block of N. Patterson Park Ave. about 8 p.m. Wednesday when an older male cut her on the right side with a knife and fled. She was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Police knew of no motive for the cutting.

Baltimore County

Garrison Precinct

Burglary: Someone entered a house in the 3700 block of Oak Ave. after breaking a window with a rock Wednesday and stole a large jar containing cash and coins, all valued at about $100.

Wilkens Precinct

Robbery: Two men, one with a handgun, robbed Pizza Paradise in the 6400 block of East Ave. in Arbutus of an undisclosed sum of money about 7 p.m. Wednesday. One of the robbers was recognized by witnesses and was stopped by police near the scene and identified. A handgun found behind Pizza Paradise was believed to have been used in the robbery. The suspect, 18, who lives near the robbery scene, was charged with armed robbery and a handgun violation. The second man was being sought.

Burglary: Video games, jewelry, watches and a pager, all valued at more than $1,000, were stolen Wednesday from a house in the 2000 block of Bero Road in Lansdowne.

Burglary: A 25-inch television valued at $300 was stolen between 4 a.m. and 5 a.m. Wednesday from a patient's room at Catonsville Eldercare in the 300 block of Harlem Lane. The thief entered through a window in a vacant room. The patient, who slept through the incident, was not harmed.
