Lee/Jackson birthday ceremony

Celebrate the birthdays of two of the South's most renowned Civil War generals Saturday at the Lee/Jackson Monument. The annual ceremony -- honoring Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson -- will feature Confederate and Federal re-enactment troops. Music from the years of the War Between the States will be performed. Refreshments will be served after the program.

The Lee/Jackson birthday ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Lee/Jackson Monument at Art Museum and Wyman Park drives. Free. Call 410-296-9235.

Sally Rogers concert

Award-winning singer and songwriter Sally Rogers will perform songs for the entire family Sunday in Towson. Rogers won "Best Folk Album of the Year" from the National Association of Independent Record Distributors for her album "In the Circle of the Sun." She has also received praise for her children's albums, including "What Can One Little Person Do?" and "Piggyback Planet." The show is sponsored by the Baltimore Folk Music Society.
