Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Northwestern District

Shooting/robbery: Two men got out of a car about 2 a.m. yesterday in the 3600 block of Reisterstown Road and demanded money from a pedestrian. The victim, 23, tried to flee and was shot in the upper left leg and robbed of his wallet containing $15. He was treated at Sinai Hospital.

Western District

Shooting: A man, 42, was shot in the left shoulder about 12: 17 a.m. Saturday in the 600 block of Mosher St. He was in critical condition yesterday at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

Southern District

Drive-by shooting: Two men in a car were in the 600 block of Cherry Hill Road about 5: 30 a.m. Saturday when another car pulled alongside and a passenger fired several gunshots at them. One of the targets was shot in the right foot as he tried to run away. The victim, 19, walked to nearby Harbor Hospital Center, where he was treated and released.

Robbery: A boy, 14, was riding his mo-ped in the 1400 block of Filbert St. about 5 p.m. Thursday when another boy struck him and he fell to the ground. The victim was struck again and robbed of the mo-ped, valued at $700.

Southeastern District

Suspect sought: A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Tyrone Thomas, 38, of the 600 block of N. Ellwood Ave., who is charged with entering a neighbor's home Thursday and stealing a videocassette recorder and video games, all valued at nearly $500.

Stolen car/arrests: Two boys, 14, were arrested Thursday night when the stolen 1994 Jeep Cherokee in which they were riding crashed into a parked car in the first block of S. Kresson St. The boys were uninjured and were processed at the Northern District juvenile detention center. A third youth, believed to be the driver, was being sought.

Southwestern District

Robbery: Three men, one armed with a handgun, robbed a man of a leather coat -- valued at more than $300 -- about 8 p.m. Saturday in the 2000 block of Hollins St. The gunman struck the victim in the neck with the weapon, causing minor injuries.

Eastern District

Shooting: A man armed with a 9 mm semiautomatic handgun shot another man, 20, in the upper left arm and left chest about 2: 15 a.m. Saturday in the 900 block of N. Patterson Park Ave. The victim was in stable condition yesterday at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Baltimore County

Woodlawn Precinct

Robbery: Two men asked a boy, 17, for directions about 10 p.m. Saturday at Tudsbury Road and Nettleton Court. Before the victim could reply, one of the men choked him while the other robbed him of a leather jacket, watch and diamond ring, all valued at $1,000.

Stolen car: A man was putting gas into his green 1994 Ford Explorer about 2 a.m. yesterday at a service station at Woodlawn Drive and Security Boulevard when two men got into the vehicle and drove off. The Explorer has vanity tags BASHMNT.

White Marsh Precinct

Theft from vehicle: A set of golf clubs and several compact discs, all valued at more than $1,000, were stolen Friday from a 1999 Mazda 626 in the 5200 block of Redhill Way.
