Miami (9-6) at Washington (9-6)

Time: 4: 15 p.m., chs. 13, 9.

Line: Redskins by 3.

Vs. spread: Dolphins 6-9; Redskins 7-8.

Last week: Dolphins lost to Jets, 38-31. Redskins beat 49ers, 26-20 in OT.

Series: Dolphins lead 5-2.

Last meeting: Dolphins won, 17-10, on Oct. 4, 1993, at Miami.

Outlook: Miami has lost four of its past five games, but its playoff chances are still alive. The Dolphins will clinch a wild-card berth if either Kansas City or Seattle loses. Washington captured its first NFC East title since 1991 last week. The Redskins can clinch a first-round bye with a win combined with a Tampa Bay loss and a Minnesota loss or tie. Miami has won five of the past six games in this series.

Notable: Dolphins QB Dan Marino has 147 victories and needs one more to tie John Elway for most career wins.

DOLPHINS: Out: TE Troy Drayton (knee). Questionable: RB J.J. Johnson (hamstring); WR Tony Martin (ribs); WR O.J. McDuffie (toe). Probable: WR Nate Jacquet (ankle); CB Sam Madison (knee); DE Rich Owens (knee).

REDSKINS: Questionable: RB Stephen Davis (ankle). Probable: G Brad Badger (ankle); WR Albert Connell (shoulder); DE Ndukwe Kalu (foot).
