January 02, 2000

An Indian Head Manor man was killed last night when he was struck by a car while on Route 210 near the border of Charles and Prince George's counties.

Roger Alexander Cox was in the southbound lane of Route 210 when he was struck by a 1995 Toyota Camry about 7 p.m. He was taken to Fort Washington Hospital, where he died a short time later, according to state police.

Police said a preliminary investigation shows pedestrian error contributed to the accident.
