Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Eastern District

Shooting: Moments after a man, 30, left a pickup in the 1000 block of N. Bond St. about 5 p.m. Friday and walked a short distance down the street, he was shot in the back and left leg by an unknown assailant. Police said the victim re-entered the vehicle, which was occupied by another man, and drove himself to Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he was treated and released. Police knew of no motive for the shooting.

Robbery/shooting: A man, 25, was in the 900 block of N. Patterson Park Ave. about 4 a.m. Friday when a gunman approached him from the rear and robbed him of an undisclosed sum of money. Before fleeing, the gunman shot the victim in the left hand. The victim was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital. No arrest had been made.

Robbery: A gunman robbed a man, 21, of more than $150 in the 700 block of N. Milton Ave. about 3 p.m. Friday.

Robbery: Two men, one with a handgun and the other a knife, robbed a man, 53, of nearly $200 and a radio while the victim was standing at a bus stop in the 1300 block of E. Eager St. yesterday. During the robbery, the gunman placed the weapon to the victim's head while the other man struck him in the face.

Central District

Carjacking: A woman, 23, and three friends were standing in a parking lot in the 800 block of N. Charles St. about 11 p.m. Saturday when a gunman wearing dark pants, black jacket and a red knit cap robbed them of more than $100. The gunman also robbed the woman of her keys and drove off in her 1994 Hyundai with tags CCL 153.

Stolen car: A 1992 Geo Storm with tags CRW 367 was stolen yesterday in the 100 block of Mercer St.

Southern District

Theft from vehicle: Drill bits, an electric drill and other items, all valued at nearly $400, were stolen from a 1990 Nissan pickup parked in the 1100 block of W. Lombard St. yesterday.

Assault: A man, 41, was sitting on the front steps of his house in the 1100 block of Haubert St. about 10 p.m. Saturday when a pickup truck driven by his wife stopped nearby. Police said a male passenger, described by the husband as his wife's boyfriend, pointed a handgun at the husband and threatened to shoot him. The gunman did not, and the pair drove away. Police said the husband was advised to seek a warrant for the man's arrest on assault charges.

Assault: A brother and sister were arguing in the home they share in the 300 block of S. Fulton Ave. when the sister was struck in the leg with a wooden baseball bat Saturday night. The woman was treated at University of Maryland Medical Center and released. No arrest had been made.

Northwestern District

Robbery try: A man was refueling his car at a service station in the 2600 block of Gwynns Falls Parkway on Friday night when three men, one with a handgun, approached and demanded his money. Instead of complying, the victim sprayed gasoline onto the gunman, causing him and his two accomplices to flee. Police searched the area but failed to find the men. Police said local hospitals also were contacted in case one of the men required treatment for being sprayed with the fuel. No such reports were made.

Robbery/carjacking: A deliveryman for Pizza Boli in the 3800 block of Liberty Heights Ave. was in the 3500 block of Woodland Ave. about 7: 30 p.m. Saturday when two apparently unarmed men robbed him of $35 and drove off in his 1991 Mitsubishi Galant with tags GYA 363.

Cutting: Two boys, one 10 and the other 16, were in the 2700 block of Beethoven Ave. about 2: 30 p.m. Saturday when the younger boy pulled out a laser pointer, turned it on and pointed the beam at the older boy's face. When the older boy protested, the 10-year-old pulled out a knife or long nail and cut him on the abdomen. No arrest had been made.

Robbery: A man who implied he was armed with a handgun robbed a man, 45, of nearly $300 in the 3100 block of Garrison Blvd. about 6 p.m. Friday.

Stolen car: A white 1991 Infiniti Q-45 with tags 548 BFP was stolen Saturday in the 3400 block of Greenspring Ave.

Baltimore County

Towson Precinct

Robbery: After a male motorist picked up a man outside a bar in Baltimore and drove him to first block of Polaris Court near Perring Parkway about 3: 30 a.m. Saturday, the passenger pulled a knife and robbed the driver of $20. Police said when the driver left the car in fear of being injured, the armed man got out and punctured a car tire with the knife before fleeing. Police said the motorist re-entered his car and, with a flat tire, drove to nearby Northern Parkway and called police. No arrest had been made.
