Towson Catholic at Lake Clifton
Dec. 8, 3: 30 p.m.
This game matches the Baltimore Catholic League regular-season champion in the visiting Owls and the Class 4A state champion Lakers. It's also a chance to watch two of the area's blue-chip guards in the Owls' Keith Jenifer and the Lakers' Teione Carroll in addition to mammoth Rice (N.Y.) transfer Jason Osbourne, 6-7, of the Owls.
Lake Clifton at Dunbar
Jan. 21, 5 p.m.
Here is the fight for East Baltimore bragging rights between two defending state champions -- 4A Clifton and 2A Dunbar. The Baltimore City East Division title will also be on the line.
Towson Catholic at Spalding
Jan. 26, 6 p.m.
The first of at least two meetings (second at Towson Catholic Feb. 6) between last season's Catholic League tournament champion Cavaliers and the regular-season champion Owls.
Meade at Annapolis
Jan. 28, 7: 15 p.m.
Anne Arundel County's top two public school teams meet for the only time in regular season in what could be a preview of the county championship game in late February. There can't be a third game this season in the state playoffs, because Annapolis is now 3A.
Aberdeen at Edgewood
Feb. 18, 6: 45 p.m.
This will be the second meeting of the season between these two (first at Aberdeen, Jan. 19) and could very well settle the Harford County championship and quite possibly seal the top seed in the 2A East region for the victor.
