Neuristics names Cooper chief operating officer

Neuristics Corp. named Michael B. Cooper chief operating officer with the mission of leading the 6-year-old Hunt Valley-based predictive modeling firm from its development phase to the offering of its products and services to a wider range of clientele.

He formerly was president of Pitney Bowes Software Systems and is an MBA graduate of the University of Toronto.

Cover is planner, manager of McCrone Annapolis office

McCrone Inc. named Steven R. Cover director of planning and branch manager for the Annapolis headquarters office of the engineering consulting firm.

A graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology, he formerly was director of planning and code enforcement for Anne Arundel County. The Arnold resident has received several government and industry awards.

Reitz is executive VP of Johns Hopkins Hospital

Johns Hopkins Hospital named Judy A. Reitz executive vice presi dent and chief operating officer. With the East Baltimore institu tion for 18 years, she received her doctorate from the School of Hygiene and Public Health. The Cockeysville resident is an author and a member of the associate faculty of the Johns Hopkins School of Hygiene and Public Health.

Hospice of the Chesapeake names Mary A. Folus CFO

Hospice of the Chesapeake named Mary A. Folus chief financial officer for the Millersville facility. A graduate of King's College and a certified public accountant, the Joppatowne resident had been accounting manager for Baltimore Medical System Inc.

Breitenother vice president in Ellis Baltimore office

CB Richard Ellis named Charles A. Breitenother as a vice president in its Baltimore office. With the firm since 1987, primarily in Howard County, the University of Maryland, College Park graduate is a certified public accountant and is active in the Howard County Pets on Wheels program.

Matthew Haas joins Manekin as sales, leasing associate

Manekin Corp. hired Matthew J. Haas as a sales and leasing associate in the Baltimore office of the Columbia-based real estate broker, builder and developer. The former president of sales and marketing for the Haas Tailoring Co., Haas is a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park and is active with United Cerebral Palsy of Maryland and the FORE Foundation.
