Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Western District

Robbery: A man, 26, was in the 1900 block of Edmondson Ave. about 7 p.m. Tuesday when two teen-age boys, one armed with a silver-colored handgun, robbed him of more than $40 and a City College ring, valued at $200.

Southern District

Burglary: Several pieces of jewelry, compact discs, a cordless telephone, videotapes and a camera, all valued at more than $3,000, were stolen from a house in the 1200 block of William St. between Nov. 13 and Saturday. The burglary was reported Tuesday.

Robbery: A man, 37, was in the 100 block of Annabelle Ave. about 8 p.m. Tuesday when another man armed with an unknown weapon robbed him of his briefcase and a watch, all of unknown value.

Theft/arrest: A man, 32, was arrested Tuesday when he tried to leave Luke's grocery store in the 300 block of Woodyear St. without paying for four boxes of trash bags valued at $6.

Burglary: Stereo equipment valued at $700 was stolen Tuesday from the living room of a house in the 4200 block of Audrey Ave.

Southwestern District

Theft: A water meter was stolen Tuesday from outside a house in the 2500 block of Wilkens Ave.

Northern District

Theft from vehicle: A cellular telephone and a pair of prescription eyeglasses, all valued at $700, were stolen Tuesday from a 1995 Toyota parked in the 3500 block of Newland Road.

Stolen car: A 1999 Nissan with Virginia tags YTN 4403 was stolen Tuesday in the 4700 block of Greenspring Ave.

Burglary: A file cabinet, telephone, fax machine and several pieces of welding equipment, all valued at nearly $1,300, were stolen yesterday from Able Body Shop in the 1100 block of Homestead St.

Baltimore County

Woodlawn Precinct

Robbery: A deliveryman for Pizza City in the 7400 block of Windsor Mill Road was making a delivery in an apartment building in the 3400 block of Vargis Circle about 6 p.m. Tuesday when two men assaulted him and robbed him of more than $100.

Robberies: Two boys, 13 and 14, were at Liberty and Langrehr roads about 4 p.m. Monday when a gunman got out of a green Dodge Acclaim with tags GGB 179 and robbed one boy of his jacket and took $100 from them.

Towson Precinct

Burglary: Two bicycles of unknown value were stolen from a garage in the 300 block of Dunkirk Road overnight Sunday.

Burglary: Someone entered an apartment in the 6600 block of English Oak Road overnight Monday and stole $500.

Garrison Precinct

Burglary: A gold necklace valued at more than $100 was stolen Monday from a house in the 3300 block of Smith Ave.

Burglary: Jewelry valued at $1,000 was stolen Monday from a house in the 2200 block of Oxeye Road.

Burglary: A computer printer, compact discs and a compact disc case, all of unknown value, were stolen Monday from a house in the first block of Jameson Lane.

For the record

Cause of death: Shawn Terese Denise Wyatt, 23, whose body was found Sunday in woods off the 1400 block of Braddish Ave., was strangled, police said yesterday. Wyatt, of the 2800 block of E. Preston St. and a mother of three, had been dead one to two weeks, said Agent Ragina Cooper, a police spokeswoman. No arrest had been made.
