Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Northern District

Burglary: A videocassette recorder and video game equipment, all valued at more than $400, were stolen Monday from a house in the 200 block of E. 25th St. The victim's cat was missing and also may have been stolen.

Burglary: A mountain bicycle and a videocassette recorder, all valued at $700, were stolen Monday from a house in the 2600 block of N. Calvert St.

Burglary: An AM-FM compact disc player and a 27-inch screen television, all valued at $700, were stolen Monday from Acme TV Service in the 5800 block of York Road.

Theft from vehicle: A cassette deck-radio and several compact discs, all valued at more than $600, were stolen Monday from a car parked in the 3900 block of Falls Road.

Stolen car: A white 1999 Nissan Altima with tags EHE 441 was stolen Monday in the 2600 block of Sisson St.

Theft: A stereo compact disc player and other property, all valued at $600, were stolen Monday from a car parked in the 1500 block of Medford Road.

Southern District

Burglary/arrest: A man was arrested Monday and charged with breaking into Pan American Development Foundation in the 100 block of Cole St. and stealing $500 worth of tools. Mark Day, 32, of the 200 block of S. Bruce St. was charged with burglary.

Southwestern District

Burglary: Glassware, cookware and china, all valued at more than $1,000, were stolen Monday from a house in the 3900 block of Rokeby Road.

Burglary: A diamond ring and a gold bracelet, all valued at nearly $2,000, were stolen Monday from the bedroom of a house in the 2000 block of Whistler Ave.

Stolen car: A light blue 1988 Dodge station wagon with tags GRD 749 was stolen Monday in the 4300 block of Seminole Ave.

Baltimore County

White Marsh Precinct

Burglary: Diamond and ruby rings, all of unknown value, were stolen Monday from a house in the first block of Maple Ave.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: A 1990 all-terrain vehicle valued at more than $2,000 was stolen from a garage in the 4000 block of Stansbury Mill Road overnight Monday.

Garrison Precinct

Robbery try/arrests: Two men were arrested shortly after they tried to rob a man, 18, of his cellular phone at Milford Mill Road and Douglas Avenue about 2: 40 p.m. Monday. The suspects, whose identifies were not available, were charged with attempted unarmed robbery.

For the record

Victim identified: Shawnterese Denise Wyatt, 23, a mother of three, was identified by police yesterday as the woman found dead Sunday in woods off the 1400 block of Braddish Ave. Police said the death of Wyatt, of the 2800 block of E. Preston St., was a homicide.
