What's the call?

POP-FLY PUNT

Aztec State is playing Mellon College in a football game.

It's fourth-and-six for Aztec. Joe "The Toe" Grullon lines up 15 yards behind the line of scrimmage to punt. Hut! Hut! Hike! Joe takes the snap.

Oops! The ball slips out of Joe's hands just as he is about to kick it. He hits the ball with his ankle! The ball soars straight up ... and falls straight down. It lands about a foot in front of Joe. Aztec running back Juan Rodriguez scoops up the ball and scampers across the line of scrimmage. He picks up 10 yards before he is tackled.

You're the ref. Has Juan picked up a first down for Aztec?

Meet Allen Iverson

Allen Iverson of the Philadelphia 76ers is nicknamed The Answer: He has a reply to any defense he faces.

Allen's crossover dribble leaves defenders flatfooted. At 6 feet, he jams over taller defenders. "He is the best scorer under 6 feet 5 inches I've ever seen," says Spur guard Avery Johnson.

Allen was The Answer for the 76ers' last season. He averaged 26.8 points per game and was the first Philadelphia player to lead the NBA in scoring since Wilt Chamberlain in 1965-66. But Allen didn't stop there. He was voted to the All-NBA First Team. Allen led his team to its first playoff appearance since 1991.
