Fall dance concerts

Watch Dancers in Action kick off the new dance season today through Sunday at Goucher College. The student dance troupe performs George Balanchine's "Seranade" and "Concerto Barroco," Jose Limon's Suite from "A Choreographic Offering" and Paul Taylor's "3 Epitaphs." A gala performance, featuring American Ballet Theatre dancers Robert Hill and Amanda McKerrow, in performances of Antony Tudor's Pas de Deux from "Leaves are Fading" and MacMillan's Pas de Deux from "Manon," takes place Saturday evening. After the show, attend a reception with New York City Ballet's Violette Verdy in the Todd Dance Studio.

Dance concerts are today at 11 a.m., tomorrow at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 3 p.m. in Kraushaar Auditorium, 1021 Dulaney Valley Road, Towson. $5 tonight; $20 tomorrow and Sunday; $10 students and seniors. Gala performance is Saturday at 8 p.m. Concert only: $30; $15 students and seniors. Reception and concert: $100. Call 410-337-6390.
