Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Northeastern District

Robbery: Three men entered Live-In-Large Tavern in the 4500 block of Belair Road about 1 a.m. Monday through a rear door after disconnecting the burglar alarm outside and tied up an employee. They stole stereo speakers, a television and a videocassette recorder, and took more than $1,000 from poker machines.

Eastern District

Shooting: A man, 30, was in the 1000 block of E. Lanvale St. about 8 p.m. Monday when three men demanded his money. One of the men pulled out a handgun and pressed it against the victim's head, a second man also pulled out a handgun and the third man acted as a lookout. The victim shoved the gun away from his head and ran. At least one of the gunman shot at him, and he was wounded in the left arm. The three men fled. The victim ran to a house in the 1700 block of Ensor St., whose occupants called police. The victim was treated at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

Southwestern District

Burglary: At least two people broke into Players Sports Center in the 4500 block of Edmondson Ave. overnight Sunday and stole jackets, leather coats, other items of clothing and accessories, all valued at more than $28,000. The thieves entered through the ceiling.

Southern District

Theft: A racing bicycle and a mountain bicycle, both valued at nearly $2,000, were stolen from the rear yard of a house in the 700 block of E. Fort Ave. between Nov. 7 and Monday.

Robbery: A man who implied he was armed with a handgun robbed Pet Value in the 800 block of E. Fort Ave. of more than $300 about 9 p.m. Monday.

Baltimore County

Towson Precinct

Burglary by trick: A man and his female accomplice posed as maintenance workers Monday and entered an apartment in the 300 block of Stevenson Lane to examine the windows. While the woman engaged the 90-year-old female tenant in conversation in one room, the man stole a stamp and coin collection and a figurine, all valued at nearly $250, from another room. A short time later, the victim discovered the loss and called police.

Burglary: Property of unknown value was stolen Monday from a house in the 1300 block of Mantle St. The intruder ate candy and drank fruit beverages.

Essex Precinct

Burglary: Two cats and 10 compact discs were stolen Monday from a house in the 700 block of Snowberry Court.

Theft from vehicle: Carpentry tools valued at $600 were stolen Monday from a pickup truck parked in the 600 block of High Villa Road.

Burglary: More than $600 was stolen Monday from an apartment in the 1400 block of Hadwick Drive.

Garrison Precinct

Burglary: Two laptop computers of unknown value were stolen from the Bell Atlantic building in the 4300 block of Old Milford Mill Road overnight Sunday. The intruder also is suspected of breaking the windows of two company trucks parked outside.
