Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Central District

Robbery: A gunman robbed a woman, 34, of more than $400 about 11 a.m. yesterday in the 1900 block of Brunt St.

Robbery: A man with a large scar on his face struck a woman at a bus stop in the 2500 block of Madison Ave. about 9: 15 a.m. yesterday and robbed her of her purse containing cash and property, all valued at $40.

Robbery: A man forced his way into a home in the 1300 block of N. Calvert St. about 7: 30 a.m. yesterday and robbed a female resident, 37, of $100.

Western District

Shooting: A man was shot in the forehead by an unknown assailant Sunday night in the 100 block of N. Amity St. He ran to a nearby house, where police found him and called an ambulance. He was in stable condition yesterday at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

Southeastern District

Assault/arrest: Two women were arguing in their home in the 2400 block of Foster Ave. about 6: 30 p.m. Sunday when one of them allegedly grabbed a kitchen knife and chased the other out of the dwelling. No injuries were reported. Roseanne Moody, 33, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and possession of a deadly weapon.

Robbery/arrests: A man who implied he was armed with a knife and his female accomplice are accused of robbing a man in his 30s of $20 Saturday night in the 1900 block of E. Pratt St. Minutes later, police arrested the couple on a nearby street and charged them with robbery.

Southern District

Theft: Several pieces of jewelry and cash, all valued at more than $800, were stolen Saturday from an apartment in the 2600 block of Northshire Drive.

Theft: Several video game discs valued at $600 were stolen Sunday from a house in the 1300 block of James St. The owner had taken them there for entertainment at a girl's birthday party and discovered them missing when he was about to leave.

Baltimore County

Parkville Precinct

Robbery: A boy, 15, was sitting on the front steps of a house in the first block of Crestvale Terrace about 7 p.m. Sunday when a man armed with a knife robbed him of more than $40.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: A mountain bicycle valued at $700 was stolen from a garage in the first block of Cedar Road on Sunday.

Burglary: A pink 20-inch bicycle valued at more than $200 was stolen Sunday from a garage in the 400 block of Timonium Road.

For the record

Arrest: Joseph Battle, 23, of the 2600 block of Rosewood Ave. was arrested at his home yesterday by members of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force on a warrant charging him with first-degree murder in the shooting July 11 of Bernard Harrison, 17, of the 4900 block of Denmore Ave. Battle is being held without bail at Central Booking and Intake Center. A motive for the slaying is unknown.
