Cubs: Named Gene Glynn third base coach.

Dodgers: Signed P Antonio Osuna (0-0, 7.71) to one-year contract for next season with options for 2001 and 2002.

Marlins: Signed C Chris Tremie and P Jake Benz to minor-league contracts.

Mets: Activated C Vance Wilson from 60-day DL and added him to 40-man roster. Assigned IF Billy Martin outright to Single-A Capital City.

Reds: Purchased contracts of OF Brady Clark, OF Adam Dunn and IF Brandon Larson from Double-A Chattanooga. Broadcasters Marty Brennaman and Joe Nuxhall signed three-year contract extensions.

Rockies: Agreed to terms with P Jerry DiPoto on two-year contract.

Yankees: Reinstated C Vidal Candelaria from 60-day DL and placed him on waivers.

Capital Athletic Conference: Named Goucher's Kim Opdyke women's volleyball Player of the Week.

MEAC: Reprimanded, censured and placed Bethune-Cookman football coach Alvin Wyatt on probation for 11 games for criticizing officials after Saturday's game against North Carolina A&T.

Northeast Conference: Named UMBC's Ty Engram men's soccer Player of the Week.

Memphis: Signed football coach Rip Scherer to two-year contract extension through January 2004.

Seton Hall: Named Nan Hambrose women's assistant basketball coach.
