Using dogs to help hearing-impaired to be discussed at Bain center Nov. 10

Debbie Gavalik of Fidos for Freedom will speak about the use of dogs for the hearing-impaired from 1 p.m. to 2: 30 p.m. Nov. 10 at Florence Bain Senior Center, 5470 Ruth Keeton Way.

The presentation will feature dogs demonstrating their ability to alert hearing-impaired adults to sounds that may be important.

The event is sponsored by SPRING (Senior Peer Resources, Individuals, Networks and Groups) Sounds support group.
