Tonight's game

November 01, 1999

Time: 9, chs. 2, 7.

Line: Packers by 5 1/2.

Vs. spread: Seahawks 2-4; Packers 2-4.

Last week: Seahawks beat Bills, 26-16. Packers beat Chargers, 31-3.

Series: Packers lead 4-3.

Last meeting: Packers won, 31-10, on Sept. 29, 1996, at Seattle.

Outlook: The prime-time spotlight will be on former Green Bay coach Mike Holmgren, who returns to Lambeau Field for the first time with his new team. Both teams are 4-2, but the Packers, as Holmgren knows, have a decided home-field advantage. They've won 33 of their past 34 regular-season home games, including eight straight. Seattle QB Jon Kitna is the AFC's top-rated passer at 92.4, but he'll face a Packers defense that intercepted six passes last week against San Diego and has a league-high 15 overall.

Notable: Seahawks are looking to go 5-2 for the first time since 1987.

Injuries:

SEAHAWKS: Out: C Kevin Glover (blood clot-IR). Questionable: WR Charles Jordan (hamstring); WR Mike Pritchard (knee); RB Mack Strong (hamstring); S Darryl Williams (hamstring). Probable: WR Charlie Rogers (ankle); T Todd Weiner (ankle).

PACKERS: Questionable: DT Santana Dotson (neck); DE Cletidus Hunt (ankle); LB Jim Nelson (ankle). Probable: S LeRoy Butler (thumb); T Earl Dotson (back); QB Brett Favre (hand); WR Antonio Freeman (neck); RB Dorsey Levens (ankle).
