Crestar Bank names Black senior vice president
Crestar Bank named Charles F. Black senior vice president/team leader for its Maryland region pri- Black vate banking group. He will oversee the unit's operation and new business development.
The 20-year employee had been a market manager in the bank's retail business banking division.
A Towson resident, he is a graduate of Washington College and the National School of Banking at Fairfield University. Black is active with the Towson YMCA, the Independent College Fund of Maryland and the Towsontowne Rotary Club.

Mercy appoints Brandon corporate director
Mercy Medical Center appointed Gerald Brandon corporate director, materials manage- Brandon ment and supply. He is responsible for materials and purchasing at the downtown Baltimore health care facility. Formerly a contract specialist for Anne Arundel Medical Center, the 12-year Army veteran is a senior member of the Association of Healthcare Resources and Materials Management.

Ellin & Tucker promotes CPAs Brodnax and Herbick
Ellin & Tucker promoted Frank E. Brodnax and P. Andrew Herbick to managers for the Baltimore accounting firm.
Brodnax, a CPA, and University of Maryland University College graduate, is assigned to the tax department. He lives in Odenton and is active with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants.
Herbick, also a CPA, is in the accounting, auditing and consulting department and will conduct audits, reviews and financial statement compilations. The Loyola College graduate lives in Catonsville.

Ogden is finance officer for Buzzuto Group
The Buzzuto Group, in Greenbelt, appointed Ryan Ogden finance officer for the apartment developer, builder and property management firm.
Ogden is an MBA graduate of Johns Hopkins University. He previously was a real estate lending officer for Provident Bank of Maryland.
