Rosse & Associates, Inc., appointed Todd Thornton an account executive for the Sparks-based advertising, public relations and marketing communications agency. He is responsible for coordinating and developing client ad and marketing programs. The York, Pa., resident is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University and was a corporate account specialist with Yokohama Tire Corp.

Whiteford, Taylor & Preston picks three new associates
Whiteford, Taylor & Preston has admitted Steven A. Luxton, Raymond L. Marshall and Jennifer M. Smith to the Baltimore-based regional law firm as associates.
Luxton, assigned to the general litigation section of the Baltimore office, is a graduate of the University of Baltimore law school. Marshall, a University of Maryland law graduate, is assigned to the litigation section at the Towson office. Smith, also a general litigator, is a master of laws graduate of George Washington University and is assigned to the firm's Washington office.
University professor hired by Baltimore law firm
Gordon, Feinblatt, Rothman, Hoffberger & Hollander retained Melissa M. Moore as counsel in the Baltimore-based firm's litigation department. A University of Maryland law graduate, the former appellate division assistant public defender is also an adjunct professor at the University of Baltimore law school.

North Arundel Hospital selected Margaret Odom as director of its outcomes management department, where she oversees outcomes, case and utilization management. A resident of Hampstead, the Johns Hopkins University graduate was formerly with the Johns Hopkins Hospital.
