Hit-and-run accident kills pedestrian on Philadelphia Road

An unidentified pedestrian was killed last night when he was hit by a pickup truck in a hit-and-run incident on Philadelphia Road near Gunpowder Falls in Bradshaw, Baltimore County police said.

The man was walking north in the southbound lane of Philadelphia Road near Forge Road about 9: 30 p.m. when he was struck by a white Ford F-150 pickup, police said.

He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Witnesses told police that the driver did not stop. Police said the vehicle will have damage to its front and right passenger side.
