Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Southeastern District

Robbery/arrests: A man and two teen-age boys were arrested Tuesday and charged in the armed robbery of a hearing-impaired man. The victim, a resident of the 4800 block of Fleet St., told police he was in the 4700 block of Eastern Ave. about 12: 30 a.m. when he was robbed of $8 at gunpoint. The man pointed in the direction the three fled and police stopped the trio. Police recovered a cigarette lighter shaped like a handgun. Dimitrious Plakas, 22, of the 600 block of Macon St., and a boy, 17, whose name was not released, were processed at the Central Booking and Intake Center. The third suspect, 14, was held at the juvenile detention center at the Northern District.

Theft from vehicle: Computer equipment, a battery power pack and other property, all valued at more than $2,600, was stolen Tuesday from a 1992 Mazda parked in the 100 block of S. Central Ave.

Southwestern District

Burglary: A compact disc player valued at $79 was stolen Wednesday from a house in the first block of Tremont Road.

Burglary: Clothing and other property, all valued at nearly $200, were stolen Wednesday from a house in the 3000 block of Rayner Ave.

Southern District

Burglary: A moped, television, videocassette recorder and other property, all valued at nearly $1,300, were stolen Wednesday from a house in the 800 block of Scott St.

Burglary: Power tools valued at nearly $900 were stolen Wednesday from a shed in the 3000 block of Lorena Ave.

Northern District

Burglary: A window air conditioner and a table, all valued at more than $400, were stolen from a house in the 500 block of Winston Ave. between Oct. 8 and Wednesday.

Theft: Antique glassware, lamp shades and other property, all valued at more than $5,000, were stolen from a house in the 4900 block of Roland Ave. between Oct. 6 and Wednesday, while the occupant was moving in.

Theft: Between Aug. 28 and Oct. 8, two diamond rings, valued at $400 each, were stolen from the kitchen of a house in the 2400 block of Shirley Ave. The victim told police she removed the jewelry while preparing food for a church anniversary party at her home on Aug. 28. She reported the theft Wednesday.

Baltimore County

Towson Precinct

Burglary: A 97-year-old resident of Pickersgill retirement community in the 600 block of Chestnut Ave. told police a woman entered her apartment about 1 a.m. Tuesday, forced her to swallow some kind of pill and stole two diamond rings, valued at $4,000.

Burglary: A videocassette recorder, telephone and a Caller-ID box were stolen Tuesday from the living room of a house in the 8500 block of Chestnut Oak Road.

Garrison Precinct

Burglary/stolen car: A thief stole a set of keys from a house in the 200 block of Owings Gate Court in Owings Mills Tuesday night and drove off in the victim's 1993 Ford Explorer sport utility vehicle.

Burglary: Three televisions and three videocassette recorders were stolen Wednesday from a house in the 11100 block of Greenspring Ave.

Robbery try: A woman, 29, was walking along Rockland Hills Drive near Jones View Drive about 7 a.m. Wednesday when a man armed with a knife got out of a green Saturn car and demanded her purse. She cried out and he drove off.
