Maryland Realtors name Strohminger top 1999 agent

Henry A. Strohminger III, an agent in the Timonium office of Long & Foster Real Estate Inc., was named the 1999 Distinguished Sales Associate of the Year at the 47th annual conference of the Maryland Association of Realtors.

Community service awards went to Jan Barnes of Century 21 Stone & Associations in Lexington Park, Clarence Horst of O'Conor, Piper & Flynn ERA of Hagerstown and Robert Tabler of Long & Foster Real Estate Inc. of Eldersburg.

Ryan Homes said that it has been recognized for its fund-raising contributions to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Since 1992, the company and its subcontractors have raised $500,000, making them the largest supporter in the Maryland chapter's history.

Champion Realty of Severna Park announced that it has acquired Clare Hughes Real Estate of Cambridge. The new Cambridge sales office will be called Champion Clare Hughes Real Estate.
