Pulte Home Corp. has opened a new model at Carr's Grant in Anne Arundel County.

The community offers lots from one to 20 acres. All homes include a hardwood foyer, 9-foot ceilings on the first floor and a wood-burning fireplace in the family room.

The model, The Briarwood, starts at $334,990 for 3,202 square feet.

The first floor consists of a two-story foyer, laundry room, powder room, 22-by-16-foot family room, 11-by-11-foot library, 14-by-14-foot living room, 14-by-14-foot dining room, large kitchen and breakfast nook, and two-car garage.

Five other floor plans are available at Carr's Grant, ranging from the 2,567-square-foot Rockingham, which starts at $289,990, to the Hanover, which starts at $322,990 for 3,000 square feet.

The model is open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily and by appointment.

To get to Carr's Grant, take Interstate 97 south to U.S. 50 east. Exit at Route 665 (Aris T. Allen Boulevard). Follow signs to Route 2 south. Continue 15 miles to the roundabout in Lothian. Turn right on Route 422 (Bayard Road). Continue 1.5 miles and turn right on Claybrooke into the community. The model is on the left.
