Howard County police are asking for the public's help in finding an elderly Ellicott City man missing since Sunday.

Sam Papa, 83, of the 9200 block of Frederick Road was last seen about 3 p.m. Sunday, leaving the Castle Harbor Marina in Chester, Queen Anne's County, said Sgt. Morris Carroll, a police spokesman.

Carroll said Papa was driving a red 1997 Lincoln Mark VIII and wearing a beige golf shirt, khaki shorts and beige socks and shoes. He said Papa is a white male, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 150 pounds, with some gray hair remaining on the sides of his head, has an impaired left eye and wears a hearing aid.

"He has been known to be disoriented and may need assistance," Carroll said.

Anyone with information about Papa should call county police at 410-313-3700.
