Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore city and county.

Baltimore City

Northeastern District

Shooting: A man in a vehicle shot another driver in the left hip at Belair Road and Pelham Avenue at 5: 30 p.m. yesterday. The victim drove himself to Union Memorial Hospital. The shooter fled south on Belair Road.

Armed robbery: A 20-year-old woman hailed an unlicensed taxi about 5 p.m. yesterday in the 2400 block of Belair Road. In the 5000 block of Moravia Road, the driver stopped the car, displayed a handgun and robbed her of two rings, valued at $2,000, and two bracelets, valued at $330. The woman escaped on foot.

Baltimore County

North Point Precinct

Destruction of property: The two front tires of a 1987 Buick Century were slashed between 9: 30 p.m. and 11 p.m. Saturday in the 2400 block of Woodridge Road. The tires were valued at $200.

Theft: Two cellular phones valued at $350 were stolen from the passenger seat of a 1987 Toyota 4Runner about 10 a.m. yesterday in the 4000 block of Beach Road. The thief broke in through the passenger-side window.

Attempted burglary: A group of men tried to enter an open shed about 7 a.m. yesterday in the 600 block of Tee Jay Lane. The group fled on foot when the homeowner approached them.

Armed robbery: A man entered a convenience store at the Citgo gas station in the 7500 block of Holabird Ave. about 2 p.m. yesterday and said he had a handgun. The robber stole cigarettes and $61.42 and fled in a green Ford Escort.

Parkville Precinct

Theft: Two lawn mowers on a trailer attached to a 1999 Ford pickup truck were stolen about 2: 30 p.m. yesterday on Morgan Mill Road.

Woodlawn Precinct

Sexual assault: A man approached a woman about 10: 30 a.m. yesterday in the 7900 block of Dunhill Village Circle, forced her into her car and drove her to Woodlawn Cemetery, where he forced her to perform sexual acts. When someone began approaching the vehicle, the man was distracted and the woman fled on foot.

Assault: A small group accosted a juvenile about 1: 25 a.m. yesterday in the 3300 block of Bero Road, punching him and throwing bottles at him.

Shooting: Someone shot at a vehicle stopped in the 5500 block of Old Court Road yesterday, striking an 18-year-old man in the neck and a 16-year-old male passenger in the knee.
