Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Southern District

Theft: A cellular phone valued at $100 was stolen from a 1994 Ford van parked in the 700 block of S. Charles St. on Sunday.

Theft: A former tenant of a house in the 2500 block of Southdene Ave. is suspected of stealing a dish washer and a refrigerator when she moved over the weekend. A warrant charging the woman with felony theft was expected to be issued.

Burglary/vandalism: Someone entered Arundel Elementary School in the 2400 block of Round Road in Cherry Hill through a door on the roof Sunday and broke the door windows of at least five classrooms, causing nearly $300 in damage.

Southwestern District

Church burglary: Father Alban Harmon, 69, of St. Joseph Monastery in the 200 block of S. Morley St., told police he was in the chapel about 1 p.m. Sunday when he noticed a young man apparently praying and went on his way. Moments later, Harmon heard the chapel's burglar alarm sounding from the dining room. When he entered the dining room, Alban discovered a videocassette recorder valued at $300 was missing and the man who was praying also was gone. No arrest was made.

Robbery: A male motorist, 44, was driving his 1988 Nissan Stanza in the 900 block of S. Dukeland St. about 1: 20 p.m. Saturday when he stopped to avoid hitting a man who stepped in front of him. After an exchange of words, the pedestrian struck the driver with his fists and robbed him of $20 and the keys to the car. The motorist was treated for minor injuries at St. Agnes HealthCare.

Burglary: A mountain bicycle valued at $400 was stolen from a shed in the 300 block of N. Chapelgate Lane on Sunday.

Burglary: Tools valued at $400 were stolen from a shed in the 1900 block of Deering Ave. over the weekend.

Stolen car: A blue two-door 1992 Dodge with tags EEP 326 was stolen Saturday in the 1900 block of Sponson St.

Gun stolen: Someone entered a car parked in the 2100 block of Mount Holly St. between Thursday and Sunday and stole a Colt .357-caliber Magnum handgunvalued at $350.

Eastern District

Robbery: Police were seeking two men, one with a sawed-off shotgun, who robbed New York Fried Chicken in the 1200 block of E. North Ave. of more than $200 about 2 a.m. Friday.

Stabbing: Two women were fighting in the 1500 block of Ward Court about 3 a.m. Saturday when one stabbed the other in the neck. Yesterday, the victim, 21, was in serious condition at Johns Hopkins Hospital. No arrest had been made.

Robbery: A man, 33, was in the 1300 block of Darley Ave. about 3 p.m. Saturday when a gunman robbed him of more than $200.

Robbery: A gunman robbed a woman, 54, of $200 in the 2100 block of Homewood Ave. about 12: 10 a.m. Sunday.

Stolen car: A four-door gray 1997 Dodge with tags GMC 141 was stolen Sunday in the 1700 block of Harford Ave.
