MOUNT AIRY MIDDLE School is planning for its 1999-2000 Parent Teacher Student Organization (PTSO) fund-raisers and is looking for business partners to support its efforts.
In 1997-1998, PTSO fund-raisers bought a 20-bin collator that cost $5,775. In 1998-1999, fund-raisers bought a sound system for $5,849.
Under the leadership of Robin Radoci, 1997-1999 PTSO president, the school's video initiative was begun. Through the perseverance of Larry Van Sant, money was collected to buy televisions, brackets and a camera.
Mount Airy Middle School wishes to thank its business partners: Mount Airy Rotary, Union National Bank, FCNB, Van Sant Plumbing, Farmers & Mechanics Bank, Cathy Hobbs, New York J&P Pizza, and Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Moran for their generous contributions.
Anyone who wants to become a business partner in the video initiative can drop off or mail a check to MAMS PTSO, 102 Watersville Road, Mount Airy 21771, or call the school at 301-829-1314 or 410-795-1756.
