Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Central District

Theft from vehicle: Electronic equipment valued at $7,000, belonging to Maryland Q C Laboratories in Aberdeen, was stolen Aug. 18 from a company-owned 1997 Chevrolet truck parked in the 400 block of Cathedral St. The theft was reported Monday.

Southern District

Robbery/shot fired: A gunman robbed a boy, 16, of more than $100 about 5 a.m. Monday in the 2900 block of Maisel St. When the victim fled, the gunman fired a shot but missed.

Eastern District

Theft: Clothing and cash, all valued at $600, were stolen Sunday from a house in the 500 block of E. 21st St. A woman is suspected of taking the property.

Southwestern District

Burglary: Thirty compact discs, a cellular phone, a 35 mm camera, 15 cassette tapes, a radio and a jacket, all valued at $900, were stolen Monday from a house in the 2100 block of Lyndhurst Ave.

Theft: Jewelry valued at nearly $900 was stolen Monday from the second-floor bedroom of a house in the 2500 block of Frederick Ave.

Burglary: A cellular phone, Caller ID, microwave oven, vacuum cleaner, lawn mower and a television, all valued at nearly $900, were stolen Monday from a house in the 1600 block of N. Dukeland St.

Northern District

Shooting: A male, 17, was in the 2800 block of Miles Ave. about 11 p.m. Monday when two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of $5. The gunman then shot the youth in the back and both men drove off in a four-door maroon Dodge with unknown tags. He was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Burglary: A cellular phone and 50 compact discs, all valued at more than $700, were stolen from a garage in the 300 block of E. University Parkway during the weekend.

Baltimore County

Parkville Precinct

Burglary: A Yamaha four-wheel all-terrain vehicle valued at nearly $5,000 was stolen from a garage in the 4900 block of Carol Court between Aug. 18 and Monday.

For the record

Arrest: Omar Oliver, 25, of the 1600 block of Ramblewood Road was arrested Monday on a warrant charging him with first-degree murder in the May 1 shooting of Shawn Sudler, 25, in the 2900 block of Spelman Road. Police knew of no motive.

Arrest: Chaz Johnston, 19, of the 4400 block of Parkside Drive was arrested Monday on a warrant charging him with first-degree murder in the Aug. 24 shooting of Larry McShine, 24, of the 2900 block of Kirk Ave., inside Jimmy's Place & Lounge in the 1600 block of Abbotson St.
