Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Western District

Robbery: A man with a knife robbed a woman, 38, of $100 about 3 a.m. Sunday in the 900 block of N. Stricker St. The robber wore a T-shirt, shorts, New York Yankees cap and Air Jordan athletic shoes.

Robbery: Two men, one with a handgun, robbed a man, 46, of cash, a religious ornament and other personal items, all valued at about $30, Saturday in the 1800 block of N. Gilmor St.

Southwestern District

Theft: A red 1999 Kawasaki Model 750 motorcycle with tags 355 D04 was stolen Saturday in the 5200 block of Hillwell Road.

Theft/arrest: A woman was arrested Sunday when she tried to leave the Giant food store at Edmondson Village Shopping Center in the 4600 block of Edmondson Ave. without paying for items valued at more than $30.

Theft/arrest: A man tried to leave the Royal Farm store in the 2400 block of Washington Blvd. on Sunday without paying for five boxes of detergent valued at nearly $35 and was arrested. The man had been sought on outstanding warrants for minor offenses.

Southern District

Burglary: A refrigerator valued at $600 was stolen Sunday from a house in the first block of W. Talbott St.

Theft from vehicle: A set of Ping golf clubs valued at $1,000 was stolen Sunday from a 1998 Lincoln Navigator parked in the 1700 block of Washington Blvd.

Theft: Police were seeking two men who broke into a car Sunday in the 100 block of Welcome Alley and stole a cellular telephone of unknown value.

Theft: Someone entered a house Sunday in the 1500 block of Filbert St. and stole several pieces of video game equipment, cash and a videocassette recorder, all valued at more than $400.

Eastern District

Stabbing: A man, 28, was riding a bicycle in the 1300 block of Aisquith St. about 11 p.m. Sunday when another man on a bicycle came up from behind and stabbed him in the neck and back with a sharp metal object. The assailant escaped. The victim was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital. No arrest had been made.

Burglary: A refrigerator and washing machine, all valued at $700, were stolen Sunday from a house in the 700 block of Glover St. The thief entered through a second-floor window.

Cutting: A man, 32, was sitting on the front steps of a vacant house in the 1800 block of N. Castle St. about 5 p.m. Sunday when a man and a woman began arguing. The woman pulled a knife and tried to cut her companion, but missed and cut the man on the steps. The man was treated for a hand laceration at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Baltimore County

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: Nearly $400 lying on a living room table was stolen Saturday from an apartment in the 6700 block of Havenoak Road.

Parkville Precinct

Theft: A money clip, gold chain, diamond ring, two silver wedding bands, rings and a gold watch, all valued at nearly $1,300, were stolen Aug. 17 from a house in the 4000 block of Brookfield Ave. The theft was reported Sunday.

Towson Precinct

Burglary: A computer monitor, keyboard and other equipment, all of unknown value, were stolen Saturday from a house in the 1700 block of Anneslie Road.

Robbery: Two men entered High's dairy store in the 8400 block of Oakleigh Road about 11: 40 a.m. Sunday, and one distracted the clerk by asking the price of a brand of candy. The second man pushed the employee aside, opened the cash register and removed about $70. The robbers drove away in a blue 1987 Chevrolet Cavalier.
