White Sox update

Chicago's three-game winning streak ended yesterday, but the White Sox have won six of eight. Though six games below .500, they have a firm hold on second place in the AL Central. Paul Konerko has homered in three of the past four games. The Orioles have taken six of seven games against Chicago this season. B. J. Surhoff has five homers against the White Sox this season, including two in support of Ponson in a 4-2 win on May 6. Harold Baines has three homers against Chicago, including a 10th-inning grand slam on May 4 that followed his ninth-inning, run-scoring triple. Sirotka is 0-1 in two starts against the Orioles. Snyder gave up five earned runs and six hits in 2 1/3 innings in an 8-4 loss on June 20. Navarro has allowed 10 runs and 12 hits in 12 innings covering two starts.
