Rouse appoints Glenn, Lundquist vice presidents

The Rouse Co. appointed Melanie M. Lundquist vice president and controller, and Gordon H. Glenn vice president and general counsel for the Columbia-based property management and development firm.

Lundquist, with Rouse since 1991, formerly was a senior manager with KPMG. A graduate of Towson University, the Woodbine resident is a certified public accountant and active in several professional organizations.

Glenn, a law graduate of George Washington University, joined Rouse in 1979 as a senior attorney. A Baltimore resident, he sits on several committees of the American Bar Association and is an officer and trustee of the Baltimore Opera Company.


Heneson names Hartlieb media relations director

Bonnie Heneson Communications Inc. named Janice Hartlieb director of media relations for the Owings Mills public relations and ad agency. She oversees placement of media items and works with contacts for obtaining client publicity. Formerly a management and public relations assistant with CadmusCom of Richmond, Va., the Towson University graduate lives in Eldersburg.

Banking and finance

Kearney is vice president, manager at Crestar Bank

Crestar Bank appointed M. Kevin Kearney as vice president and commercial account manager. He is assigned to the commercial banking division and responsible for new business development credit, cash management and corporate trust products in middle-market commercial accounts. Formerly a commercial relationship manager with Provident Bank of Maryland, the Bel Air resident holds a graduate degree in finance from Loyola College.

Legal and insurance

Serini, Atlas, Sippel join Ober, Kaler firm

Ober, Kaler, Grimes & Shriver said Paul A. Serini has joined the Baltimore-based regional law firm as counsel and Harry I. Atlas and John W. Sippel Jr. as associates.

Serini, in the health law department, is a founding principal of Phoenix HealthCare Consulting and a graduate of the Columbus School of Law at Catholic University and University of Maryland.

Atlas, formerly with Smith & Downey, is a graduate of the University of Maryland School of Law and is assigned to the firm's employee benefits department. Sippel, a law graduate of the University of Baltimore, is with the admiralty law group and formerly was with Semmes, Bowen & Semmes.

Commercial real estate

James S. Leanos joins KLNB Columbia office

KLNB Inc. announced that James S. Leanos has joined the Towson-based regional commercial real estate services firm. A former senior vice president with Casey & Associates, he was assigned to KLNB's Columbia office, dealing with high-technology tenant and property representation as well as land sales and real estate investments. A Towson resident, he is a graduate of the University of Maryland and is a director of the Greater Baltimore Board of Realtors.
