Two town officials added to Municipal League panel

New Windsor Mayor Jack A. Gullo Jr., president of the Maryland Municipal League, has appointed two Carroll County town officials to the league's Legislative Committee for one-year terms.

Appointed were New Windsor chief of staff Ragen Cherney and Westminster Councilman Kevin E. Dayhoff.

The 46-member committee directs league actions during the General Assembly session each winter. Before that, it develops a legislative program with priorities for introduction at the beginning of each session.

The Maryland Municipal League is a nonprofit, nonpartisan group representing more than 150 cities and towns.
