Indians update

The Orioles find the 69-44 Indians driving for the American League's best record. Through a scheduling quirk, the Orioles visit Jacobs Field for the second time this season while still awaiting the Indians' only arrival at Camden Yards. Right fielder Manny Ramirez leads the majors with 116 RBIs and is on pace to break Hal Trosky's franchise record (162). If there is a good time to face the Indians, this may be it. Catcher Sandy Alomar, center fielder Kenny Lofton, designated hitter Wil Cordero, third baseman Travis Fryman and starting pitcher Dwight Gooden can be found on the disabled list. Second baseman Roberto Alomar is constructing a career year that includes a 65-game errorless streak while continuing on a 125-RBI pace. The Orioles, 22-37 vs. Cleveland since 1993, were swept by the Indians in their first three-game series, losing each game after scoring first.
