Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Central District

Theft: A golf bag containing 14 golf clubs, all valued at $2,200, was stolen from a 1989 Mercedes-Benz station wagon parked Monday in the 100 block of E. Pratt St.

Robbery: A woman came up behind a man, 54, applied a choke-hold and robbed him of $40 about 8: 40 p.m. Monday in the 1700 block of St. Paul St.

Burglary: A telephone, video camera, watch, rifle and shotgun were stolen Monday from an apartment in the 1500 block of Druid Hill Ave.

Theft from vehicle: Computer equipment and other items, all valued at more than $3,500, were stolen Monday from a car parked in the 200 block of St. Paul St.

Southern District

Theft: Tools and surveying equipment, all valued at more than $1,600, were stolen Monday from a 1996 Chevrolet pickup truck parked in the 1400 block of Key Highway.

Eastern District

Theft from vehicle: A police radio and other property were stolen from a Baltimore police officer's personal 1993 Chevrolet Suburban parked Monday in the 1200 block of E. Preston St.

Burglary: Paneling, three storm doors, carpeting, cabinets, paint, electrical fixtures and more than 30 boxes of floor tile, all valued at nearly $3,900, were stolen Monday from a house in the 1400 block of Cliftview Ave.

Burglary: Carpeting, hardwood flooring and cleaning materials, all valued at nearly $2,000, were stolen Monday from a shed in the 2300 block of Robb St.

Southwestern District

Assault: A man and woman were in the 3300 block of Edmondson Ave. about 11 p.m. Monday when the man got into an argument with two men, one of whom struck him in the head with a baseball bat. The victim refused medical treatment and no arrest was made.

Baltimore County

Essex Precinct

Robbery: A man, 40, was at Williams Avenue and Southeastern Terrace about 12: 40 a.m. Monday when two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of $50. Before they fled, the robbers struck him in the face with their fists and the gun. The victim suffered minor injuries and was treated at Franklin Square Hospital Center.

Burglary: After breaking the front window, a thief entered Plantation Inn in the 11700 block of Pulaski Highway early Monday and stole more than $1,000 from Keno and poker machines.

Towson Precinct

Robbery: Two men, one with a handgun, robbed a man, 27, of his backpack and more than $100 about 9: 30 p.m. Monday at Collinsdale Road and Sayward Avenue.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: Two rifles and a shotgun, all valued at more than $1,000, were stolen from a cabinet in a house in the 17000 block of Gorsuch Mill Road between Thursday and Monday.

Garrison Precinct

Burglary: A safe containing an undisclosed large sum of money and jewelry of undisclosed value was stolen from a house in the 8000 block of Melody Lane in Pikesville between Friday and Monday.
