Cloudiness is common in homemade iced tea, but the problem can be eliminated if you just allow the tea to cool to room temperature before placing it into the refrigerator. If the tea is still cloudy, try adding a small amount of boiling water until it clears up.

A number of minerals are released when tea is brewed, and that results in the cloudiness.
