Cubs: Henry Rodriguez was a last-minute scratch with a lower back strain. He hasn't played since leaving Friday night's game with a bruised right rib.

Mets: John Olerud stole the second base of the season and eighth of his career in the third inning.

Phillies: Scott Rolen missed his sixth straight game with a lower back strain. He took batting practice before the game, reported no pain and could return to the lineup as early as today. NL hits leader Doug Glanville got the night off.
