The City of Baltimore together with the Fannie Mae Foundation and the Live Baltimore Marketing Center will offer a free home fair and trolley tour of Northeast Baltimore Saturday.

The first 20 tour participants who purchase a home in the region within 90 days will receive a $3,000 grant from the city toward closing costs or down payment.

The fair, fourth in the series on the city's five regions, will be held from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Hamilton Elementary School No. 236 at 6101 Old Harford Road.

Participants will have the opportunity to talk with local real estate agents and lenders and will receive a list of the properties for sale in the region.

Trolley tours will depart every 30 minutes and will include stops at homes for sale in Cedonia, Belair-Edison, Beverly Hills, Lauraville, Original Northwood, Belvedere, Ramblewood and Glenham-Belford.

Almost 40 people have finalized home purchases from the three area fairs held this year.

The Central Baltimore fair is scheduled for Sept. 25 at the Baltimore Convention Center.
