The Preserve

D. R. Horton Homes has opened a new model at The Preserve at Hunt Valley.

The community, which has 30 lots available, offers eight floor plans.

Standard options include brick fronts, brass carriage lamps, 9-foot first-floor and lower-level ceilings, cathedral or tray ceilings in master bedroom, and masonry wood-burning fireplace in family room.

The model, the Somerset, is 4,250 square feet and starts at a base price of $529,900.

A three-car garage and a 10-by-10-foot concrete patio are standard features of the Somerset.

The first floor consists of a foyer, powder room, 18-by-13-foot living room, 15-by-14-foot library, 18-by-18-foot great room, 17-by-14-foot dining room, and kitchen, morning room and home center area.

The second floor has a 15-by-12-foot bedroom, 15-by-13-foot bedroom, 14-by-12-foot bedroom, two bathrooms, and 29-by-17-foot master bedroom with two walk-in closets, master bath and adjoining 13-by-12-foot sitting room.

The other floor plans range from the 3,000-square-foot James Madison II, which starts at $434,900, to the Cambridge II, which starts at $504,900 for 3,700 square feet.

The model is open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.

From Interstate 695, take Interstate 83 north for about six miles. Take exit 20A to Shawan Road. Follow for about one mile then make a left onto York Road. Follow York Road for about two miles. The community is on the right.
