Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Western District

Drug arrest: Officers Ronald Howard and Keith Russell stopped a 1993 Ford Crown Victoria in the 1700 block of Edmondson Ave. about 5: 30 p.m. yesterday after the driver allegedly ran a red light. Officers saw a pillowcase lying on the front seat, containing what appeared to be marijuana. Inside the pillowcase, the officers found 10 1-pound packages of marijuana worth more than $30,000 on the street. Also seized was a pager and a cellular telephone. Antoine Anthony Lewis, 30, of the 2200 block of Madison Ave. was charged with possession of suspected marijuana with intent to distribute and a traffic violation. He was being held at Central Booking and Intake Center.

Northwestern District

Shooting: A 16-year-old West Baltimore youth was in the 3000 block of Wolcott Ave. about 8: 37 p.m. Monday when he heard several gunshots and felt a pain in the lower back. He was in stable condition at Sinai Hospital yesterday with a bullet wound to the right buttock.

Southeastern District

Arrests: After five men were ejected from a bar in Fells Point early Monday, they assaulted a Greenbelt man and were arrested. The men, ages 21 to 25, were charged with assault and processed at Central Booking and Intake Center.

Eastern District

Robbery: A man, 33, walking in an alley behind the 1100 block of E. 20th St. about 11 p.m. Monday got into a dispute with another man, who struck him with a metal pipe. The victim was treated at Mercy Medical Center. Police were seeking a man known as "Mighty Mouse" who has "Thug Life" tattooed on his arm and chest.

Robbery: Two men, including one who implied he was armed with a handgun, robbed Big Daddy's Carryout in the 1200 block of E. North Ave. of an undisclosed sum of money Monday night.

Theft: A 53-foot-long 1998 Hyundai trailer valued at $20,000 was stolen from the parking lot of Freight Systems in the 3300 block of E. Biddle St. between July 10 and July 12. The theft was reported Monday.

Northern District

Theft from vehicle: Someone entered a 1988 Toyota parked in the 2700 block of N. Charles St. on Monday and stole $2.

Burglary: A 13-inch television, 21-inch TV, compact disc player, microwave oven, cordless telephone, gold bracelet, a pearl necklace, 25 compact discs and a pearl ring, all valued at more than $1,500, were stolen Monday from a house in the 1000 block of Dartmouth Road.

Southwestern District

Theft/arrest: A woman was arrested Monday when she tried to leave the Rite-Aid pharmacy in Westside Shopping Center in the 2400 block of Frederick Ave. without paying for hair dye valued at $9. The woman's daughter fled and was being sought.

Robbery: Two youths, one with a handgun, took jewelry, cash and a cellular phone -- all valued at more than $600 -- from two boys and a girl about 4 a.m. Monday in the 2300 block of Wilkens Ave. The robbers escaped on bicycles.

Baltimore County

Parkville Precinct

Robbery: A man, 31, was standing outside a convenience store in the 7100 block of Darlington Drive about 2 a.m. Monday when two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of $10.

Burglary: Jewelry, stereo equipment and a camcorder, all valued at nearly $6,000, were stolen Monday from a house in the 9500 block of Belair Road.

Essex Precinct

Burglary: While the occupant was in the bathroom, someone entered a house in the 800 block of Platinum Ave. and stole a purse containing more than $100.
