Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Central District

Bank robbery: A man robbed First National Bank of Maryland in the first block of S. Charles St. of an undisclosed sum of money about 9: 25 a.m. yesterday. The man gave a teller a holdup note but displayed no weapon.

Burglary/arrest: A man, 47, was arrested Sunday after more than $400 worth of property, including antique ivory and silver rings and antique cuff links, was stolen from Mount Vernon Antique Flea Market in the 200 block of W. Monument St. The man gained entry through a second-floor rear window. A witness detained a man for police. Anthony Fontaine, 48, of the 2700 block of Giles Road was charged with burglary.

Burglary: A video camera, shoes, a radio, gold jewelry, three diamond rings and watches, all valued at more than $6,000, were stolen Sunday from a house in the 500 block of Sanford Place. The thief entered through a second-floor rear window.

Theft from vehicle: A compact disc player and five compact discs, all valued at $165, were stolen Sunday from a 1994 Toyota van parked in the 200 block of Park Ave.

Theft: Someone entered a 1993 GMC truck parked in the 200 block of Key Highway on Sunday and stole a compact disc player and a cellular phone.

Southern District

Shooting/arrest: Two men were arguing in the 2800 block of Spelman Road about 3: 15 p.m. Sunday when one pulled a handgun and shot the other in the head. The victim, a resident of the 2900 block of Denham Circle, was treated at Maryland Shock Trauma Center. The gunman, a resident of the 2800 block of Spelman Road, was arrested and charged with attempted murder and a handgun violation. His name was not available.

Dog stolen: A 10-week-old pit bull valued at $300 was stolen Sunday from the rear yard of a house in the 4100 block of Audrey Ave.

Theft: A man, 21, was in the 1900 block of W. Pratt St. about 9: 30 p.m. Sunday when he allowed a younger male to ride his mountain bicycle, valued at $300. When the youth failed to return, the man reported the bicycle stolen.

Southeastern District

Burglary: Property valued at more than $400 was stolen yesterday from a house in the 400 block of Hormel Ave. The thief entered through a door.

Burglary: Stereo equipment and a keyboard, all valued at more than $4,000, were stolen Sunday from a house in the 700 block of S. Glover St. Entry was gained through a basement window.

Southwestern District

Theft: A 20-inch mountain bicycle valued at more than $250 was stolen Sunday from the back yard of a house in the 2000 block of Deering Ave.

Burglary: While a woman was moving into a residence, someone entered her former home in the 3000 block of Westwood Ave. overnight Saturday and stole a dining room table, four chairs and a microwave oven, all valued at more than $1,000. Entry was gained through a kitchen window.

Eastern District

Theft from vehicle: Payroll checks, more than $2,000 and a cellular phone were stolen Sunday from a 1996 Dodge Caravan parked in the 900 block of N. Kresson St.

Theft: A cellular phone valued at $100 and $15 were stolen from a Hyundai parked Sunday in the 1900 block of N. Regester St.

Assault: A girl, 15, was walking in the 1100 block of Homewood Ave. about 11: 30 p.m. Sunday when she was attacked by two other teen-age girls, one of whom struck her with a broken beer bottle. The victim was treated at Union Memorial Hospital for a laceration on her left wrist. No arrests had been made.

Baltimore County

Cockeysville Precinct

Robbery: A man and woman robbed the Exxon service station in the 11200 block of York Road of more than $100 about 8: 40 p.m. Sunday and drove away in a maroon Dodge Dynasty with unknown tags. During the robbery, the man implied the woman was armed with a handgun, but no weapon was displayed.

White Marsh Precinct

Burglary: Copper tubing of unknown value was stolen from South-Oldham Inc. in the 7400 block of Philadelphia Road during the weekend.

Burglary: Someone climbed a fence surrounding the swimming pool at the YMCA in the 7600 block of Lillian Holt Drive overnight Saturday and threw furniture, a cooking grill and other items into the pool. Damage to the property was estimated at about $500.

Essex Precinct

Robbery: A boy, 13, was riding his bicycle in the 1800 block of Eastern Ave. about 9: 15 p.m. Sunday when a man forced him off the bicycle, put it in a green minivan and drove away. The model and make of the vehicle were not known.

Towson Precinct

Stolen vehicle: A beige, four-door 1996 Jeep Cherokee with tags M243558 was stolen Sunday in the 1300 block of Deanwood Road.
