Services association elects officers, directors

The Association of Community Services of Howard County has elected officers and directors for 1999-2000.

Carol A. Beatty, executive director of the Arc of Howard County, will be president.

Madeleine Greene, extension educator, family and consumer science at the University of Maryland Cooperative Extension, will be vice president.

Cheryl DePetro, executive director of STTAR (Sexual Trauma Treatment, Advocacy and Recovery) Center, will be secretary.

Ann Bromery, vice president and managing director of accounting for the Amerix Corp., will be treasurer.

New board members include Allen Cornell, Neil Dorsey, Megan Karch, Estes Lockhart, Philip Lord, Carole MacPhee, Judy Pittman, David Wamsley and Donna Wells.

The Association of Community Services is a network of Howard County human service providers, community organizations, and citizen advocates.
